My name is Jenny Correia, Portugese girl born in Angola and wildly bred in Southern Africa. In 2009 life’s tidal wave brought me to the Netherlands where I now run my own business as a website designer.  I am a animal loving person, who wishes to remove the blinkers of mankind.  To stop the Brute, Force and Ignorance and bring on a Brighter Future Initiative for all.

My love hate relationship with Nutrition started back in 2002-ish when I met a ‘food psychologist’.  For the first time in my life I starting eating to heal my body and prevent disease related to nutrition.

Whats behind the name?

The sprouting of this little bud came about in honour of “Calf269”.  Calf 269 is a bull who was rescued as a calf by anonymous activists, days before his planned slaughter. The slaughter was scheduled for June 2013. He is described as sweet-tempered and white-headed, and his ear carried a tag numbered 269, indicating he was destined for slaughter.  The significance of the event led to the creation of “269 life“, an animal liberation movement founded in October 2012.

The numbers 269 in alphabet equivalents are BFI and BRIGHTER FUTURE INITIATIVE was brought to life to spread the word about not only calf269 but others who face the same fate.  We shall no longer stand for the Brute Force and Ignorance, but we strive for a Brighter Future Initiative where all living creatures can live in peace and harmony.
